Our base of operations is the Grove settlement, where we return after each expedition to the surrounding dungeons. We can sell unnecessary items and stock up on more useful equipment, as well as talk to the villagers and accept quests from them.
Part of me hopes that this is just a proof of concept demo, basically showing off what they have done so far (mostly graphical from what it looks like). The updated graphics and lighting do look quite good.
The gameplay is diversified by the fact that the dungeons we visit are procedurally generated. Thanks to this, it is impossible to come across two identical underground locations.

FATE is all about trying out different builds & abilities… so don’t be afraid to mess around and see what works for you… you can always respec later if you feel like mixing things up.
You have pelo idea how long I held onto hope that one day they would continue this game, unfortunately there is not going to be a new FATE game, a remaster is better than nothing.
However, the gameplay and mechanics are very clunky and choppy, nowhere near as FATE: Reawakened Gameplay smooth as the original game. The character would swing very slowly, switch between targets, get stuck on nothing while moving, it all just seems very sloppy.
And remember those pets transforming into monsters? Yeah some fish do that too. So don’t forget the fishing!
Graphics are good, but not much else I've played Fate for a long time, so seeing that a remastered version was coming out hit me right in the childhood. I was excited seeing the announcement this morning that a demo was available, but I was left pretty disappointing upon playing it.
Vitality: Basically, how much of a beating you can take. More vitality = more health and tougher you are…

This means pelo new content, but does mean other improvements, fixes, and updates. Rest assured, those that lurk in the dungeon’s depths are still your favorite monsters – they’ve just gotten a bit of a glow-up.
